Senior honors: "I didn't get any of them. I was hurt most of the season so that kind of messed me over. Out of the 10 we played in I only really played in five. I had a shoulder injury, a sprain. I'm healed though now, I'm back to competing. It was very frustrating because I'm one of the kids that the other kids look up to. It was tough but I got through it and I'm ready to get to ASU."

Best sports memory: "Scoring my first varsity touchdown. My freshman year. It was unbelievable having the crowd cheer, the band play. It as a great feeling."
On the first time he knew he was good enough to play at the next level: "I would have to say toward the end of my sophomore season and toward the end of that summer after that. I started training really hard, went to some camps, found out I have 4.3 speed. That gave me a one-up on a lot of recruits."
On moving to ASU and being on his own: "That was always what I wanted. I had a rule of being at least two states away growing up. I wanted a different experience as far as culture. So Arizona definitely does that. I came up with that my sophomore year. I felt like, this is my opportunity to get away."
Why ASU: "I picked ASU because overall it was a great place. The coaches were great, the players area great, they have great weather all around the year."
On ASU running backs coach Kodi Burns: "It was a quick turnaround. Actually before the (official visit) he came to my house. And then he came to my house again so we've been getting to know each other, building a relationship. I like him, I think he's a real good dude. He's relatable. He's kind of young. I think it's good to be relatable to the players, know what they're going through."
On his goals for his freshman season: "My ultimate goal is to is to make a big impact on the field as a freshman. But also maintain good grades through football and baseball season. Also to just enjoy everything."
On his signing day plans: "My school has a big thing for all the signees and then after that just go out to eat somewhere."
