On the first time he knew he was good enough to play at the next level: "My freshman year of high school. When I had my first game I knew I would be good enough to play college football or even the NFL."

On moving to ASU and being on his own: "It will be cool because I traveled the world for sports and if my parents couldn't make it I've done it myself so I'm kind of used to it. Just adapting really is the only thing."

Why ASU: "It was a good place for me and my major (kinesiology) I want to do is good there. I think it's a really good school and the football team is like a brotherhood."

On ASU wide receiver coach Del Alexander "He's a cool coach, has a nice personality. I think when it's time for me to actually be there, he's going to be the good coach I need and teach me the things I need to know."

On his goals for his freshman season: "Come in, try to be the best I can be and try to get a spot on the field."

On his signing day plans: "If we do they haven't told me. They'll probably tell me (Tuesday). We'll do something with my family and friends."
