Arizona State spring football week one recap

The Sun Devils have seen half their staff turnover from last season and will be replacing many starters on both sides of the football. Here's our take on how that all looks through the first few days of action.

A lot happened in the first week of Arizona State's spring football practices and we're here to talk you through it all. Included in this wrap-up following the Sun Devils' first three practices is the following:

-- ASU coach Todd Graham is acting as more of a CEO type in spring ball this year, true to his stated off-season plans. 

-- After massive struggles last season against the pass defensively, ASU's personnel is quite a bit different heading into 2016. What's that look like initially to our eye? 

-- A quarterback competition that is generating a lot of attention is well underway. There are some differences with skill development and overall approach. 

-- The Sun Devils are replacing multiple wide receiver starters but a major change in how the position group is utilized has the players happy and could lead to faster play.
