DevilsDigest's Top 50 West Coast Prospect List

Over the last year I've watched hundreds of high school and AAU basketball games, and while I haven't seen all of the talent worthy of Division 1 scholarships, I've seen a great many of the stars that will flourish at the next level. Here is a list of the Top-50 prospects from the West in the 2004 class.

First, a caveat: I have only included in this list players that I have actually seen in person. There are players that could possibly have broken into my Top-50 had I seen them, but including them sight unseen is something I did not want to do. Hopefully people will understand that it is impossible to watch everyone.

For the players that are listed, I have watched most of them multiple times with my own eyes. I've also queried a number of people I trust and respect for their opinions. While this list is ultimately my own, it is based in part on a broad understanding of what others feel as well.

It should be pointed out that I am choosing to focus on how these players project over the next four or five years only, and not how they ultimately might play ten or more years down the road.
