Romello White addition moves ASU into 2016 Top-25

One of the top remaining available 2016 prospects, Top-100 recruit Romello White, has signed with Arizona State.

Arizona State has signed three four-star prospects in a recruiting class for the first time in history.

With Thursday's addition of Romello White a 6-foot-9, 220 pound power forward ranked No. 81 overall, the Sun Devils are now ranked No. 21 nationally in the 2016 class.

White, the No. 15 ranked prospect at his position, played last season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He initially signed with Georgia Tech but was released from his National Letter of Intent following a coaching change at the school.

The Sun Devils already have received signed scholarship paperwork from 6-foot-6 wing Sam Cunliffe, the No. 45 overall recruit in the class out of Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Washington, and unranked four-star 6-foot-9 center Jethro Tshisumpa from Mountain Mission School in Grundy, Virginia. They've also signed three-star 6-foot-9 forward Vitaliy Shibel.

ASU has never signed three four-star prospects in a single class dating to at least 2002. The Sun Devils have a major need in the frontcourt for their 2016-17 roster following the departure of senior starting center Eric Jacobsen and forwards Willie Atwood and Savon Goodman.
