Brady White may earn first college start vs. UCLA

Arizona State redshirt freshman Brady White will make his first start at quarterback Saturday if Manny Wilkins isn't healthy enough to play.

After Tuesday's practice, Arizona State head coach Todd Graham listed sophomore quarterback Manny Wilkins as 'questionable to doubtful' for Saturday's contest against UCLA.

Wilkins injured his left ankle Saturday evening in the second quarter against USC and was relieved by redshirt freshman backup Brady White. White led the Sun Devils on two fourth quarter touchdown drives, but initially struggled against a Trojans' defensive front that gave ASU fits all night.

At Tuesday's practice, Wilkins was jogging lightly and throwing the ball with White during individual drills at the portion of practice open to the media.

SunDevilSource has video of Wilkins at practice in the warmup line Tuesday, as well as video from the field Saturday night at the Coliseum when he suffered his injury.

After Tuesday's practice, Chris Karpman and Zane Hopen broke down ASU's quarterback situation and provided a look at Wilkins' injury and White's readiness.
