ASU signee Corey Stephens highlights

Saguaro (Scottsdale) head coach Jason Mohns told SunDevilSource he thinks offensive lineman Corey Stephens is one of the most underrated local recruit in the state.

When Saguaro (Scottsdale) offensive lineman Corey Stephens was offered by Arizona State, it didn't take the three-star target long to make up his mind about his college destination.

A lifelong Sun Devils' fan, Stephens committed within days of receiving his ASU offer, choosing the local school over offers from Air Force, Army, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Louisville and Memphis. Armed with an impressive 4.3 GPA, Stephens plans on entering Barrett, the Honors College upon arriving at ASU and finding a major focused on business.

The No. 1 rated offensive guard in Arizona, Stephens was ranked as the 46th offensive guard in the country by Scout, but told SunDevilSource ASU plans to try him at center when he first arrives on campus.
