Of all the prospects Arizona State signed on Wednesday, the recruit the Sun Devils' coaching staff may be most excited about is four-star cornerback Alex Perry.
Given all of the challenges ASU's secondary has faced in the last two seasons, Perry represents a potential immediate impact contributor at a glaring position of need. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback is the No. 144 ranked player in the Scout300, the No. 6 corner in the West, and the younger brother of ASU starting field safety Armand Perry.
Alex Perry chose ASU over reported scholarship offers from Arizona, Colorado, Michigan, Oklahoma and Utah among others.
