With a quarterback competition underway, five new assistant coaches getting acclimated and a head coach attempting to lead a resurgence after back-to-back losing seasons, there's no shortage of storylines surrounding Arizona State's football program this spring.

In this week's edition of the 'Sun Devil Source Premium Report,' hosts Kerry Crowley and Chris Karpman offer their analysis from the first two sessions of Arizona State's spring practice slate, compiling a position-by-position review of what they've learned thus far.

The episode begins with a review of ASU's quarterback depth and an evaluation of how new offensive coordinator Billy Napier's system should change the demands required of signal-callers within the Sun Devils' offense. Chris and Kerry discuss why it's significant Napier has ASU's quarterbacks working on handling snaps from under center and taking five-and-seven step drops early in the spring, and discuss how each quarterback on the Sun Devils' roster stylistically fits a pro-style scheme.

This week's edition of the podcast continues with a look at the rest of ASU's position groups, as well as a breakdown of the coaching styles of the Sun Devils' new assistants and how they differ from their predecessors. Kerry and Chris provide a comprehensive look at how offensive line coach Rob Sale, wide receivers coach Rob Likens and defensive line coach Michael Slater instruct their position groups, and how ASU's players will benefit from their particular coaching styles.

After finishing up reviews of where ASU's depth stands at each position group and what players should factor into the two-deep on both offense and defense, Kerry and Chris provide a brief update of where the Sun Devils' special teams units stand at this point in the spring and what to expect moving forward.
