Tim Pierce, a 6-7 180 small forward out of Freemont high school in Oakland, California, ranked as the #4 player at his position on the West Coast by the insiders.com had considered Oregon and UNC Charlotte among a handful of other schools, but ultimately decided on Arizona State.
"It feels good to get it out of the way," Pierce told DevilsDigest on Saturday. "Now I can just really focus on my senior year, both on the court and in the classroom. The whole process wasn't really for me."
With Pierce's commitment, the Sun Devils have two remaining scholarships to give in the 2004 class.
