"The visit went real well," said the 6-6 310 OT " I got to see the campus in depth this time. I got along well with the coaches and players." Berg is keeping his recruiting interests to the Pac-10. He's naturally interested in U of A, as well as Oregon St. Washington, and UCLA. Both Arizona schools and UCLA are his top 3 schools. The two Arizona schools are the only he visited, and he said that both visits were "neck in neck" with each other. He will visit UCLA on 1/11, and Oregon St. on 1/18. He's still trying to set up a visit with Washington. Due to his visit schedule, Berg doesn't expect to make a decision before the end of January.
The offensive tackle lists his strengths as run blocking. "I ran a 5.0 in the 40, so I like to pull when I run block." Berg does acknowledge that he still has to work on his pass blocking skills. With a 3.0 GPA and an 1130 SAT, Berg is full qualified.
