New York Defensive Lineman Visits ASU

In the last two years, the Sun Devils have landed players from New York City. This year, ASU's recruiting endeavors have taken them up state to Syracuse and defensive lineman Dario Arezzo. DevilsDigest caught up with him following his trip to Tempe.

"I enjoyed it," said Arezzo about his trip. "I liked the coaches and the players. They're really close like a family. The weather was real nice too. They showed us the facilities and everything was real nice. I enjoyed it a lot."

Coach Casamento, Arezzo's coach at the Christian Brothers academy school, portrays his player as: "Very athletic, and what colleges like about him is that his motor never stops. He makes plays all over the field." Arezzo finished the year with eight sacks and 79 tackles. The lineman was voted to the All-Central New York 2004 First team.

The 6-2 230 defensive lineman, who also plays on the offensive line indicated that ASU was his first visit. "I still want to look around. I plan to call Wisconsin and Rutgers and set up visits with them. I want to take those visits before I make a decision."
