"It was a good visit," said Granger. "It was a real nice place. My host was Riccardo Stewart and I had fun hanging with him. Stadium, facilities – everything was top of the line. No flaws or anything like that."
The 6-2 325 defensive tackle has already visited LSU and Oklahoma. How did both those visits compare to Arizona State? "They all were the same. Football is football. I'm looking for good academics, and they all have that." He added that he plans to make his last two visits to Tennessee and Oklahoma State in January.
Granger carries a 3.47 GPA and a 930 SAT, which should qualify him academically. On that note, he stated that one factor stands above the rest when it will be time for him to choose a school. "It's all about academics," he commented. "The location isn't an issue."
The five-star prospect's timetable for a decision is undetermined. "I have no idea when I'm gonna decide (smile). I don't know if I'll make a decision before I take my five visits."
