Hardeman Still Looking

The Dallas defensive end has two visits under his belt, and plans to take two more. Does he anticipate his decision to come down close to Letter of Intent Day, or will the rumored package deal with teammate and blue chip defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger actually come to fruition and alter his decision schedule? Jameon Hardeman talks about those topics and more with Devils Digest.

Regardless of his relationship with DeMarcus Granger, the Sun Devils have been and still are targeting Jameon Hardeman quite hard. "They call me a lot and write letters," he said. "I feel good about them." However, he sounds very non-committal as to his list of favorites. "I don't have a top choice right now," he stated. "I want to make sure I check out other schools. Recruiting isn't tough on me. I want to get my name out there and get schools to look at me."

The two official trips awaiting him are Tennessee on Jan. 21st, and Arkansas a week later. "Arkansas has offered DeMarcus and so did Tennessee. DeMarcus is going to visit Tennessee and they said that if they might offer me too. Arkansas had a coaching change, but they said that they maybe offer me too."

ASU remains the lone school that had offered both Hardeman and Granger, which begs the inevitable question if these two high school teammates are considered a package deal? " It's possible," said Hardeman. "It's a 50-50 chance. We could go to the same school and we also could go to separate schools."
