ASU Still High on California Safety's List

The Sun Devils have been high on Ryan McFoy's recruiting list for several months now. The only official trip the safety has taken was to Tempe about a month ago. The Chino (Calif.) star is lining up more visits to his other suitors, but that hasn't diminished ASU's standing with him.

"Arizona State and USC are my co-favorites," said the 6-1 190 Ryan McFoy, "and they rank a little above Oregon and Utah. When my grades get better I'm gonna visit USC. I'm gonna to Colorado State next week and Utah on the 17th." He added that he doesn't plan to make a decision before January.

ASU's Special Teams and Tight Ends Coach Tom Osborne is recruiting McFoy, who said that the maroon and gold have been consistent with their recruiting attention. The safety's attention on the other hand has been on his school work. "I got a 700 on my SAT and I have a 2.4 GPA. I'm trying to get my GPA to 3.0 so I can qualify."
