"Coach Nordquist was down here to meet and I told him I'm coming to Arizona State," said the 6-1 210 Ryan Torain. "He was real excited. It feels great to commit now and get a lot of pressure of my back. I can't wait to get down there. I love the campus, the players...everything."
Torain chose the Sun Devils over TCU and Louisville. "I just compared it to the other school and ASU came up on top," he said.
Torain collected 795 yards, and had an average of 6.8 yards a carry. He scored 12 touchdowns in Butler's 9-2 2005 campaign, and was named to the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference second team . He is a May graduate and has three years to play two.
