Richardson May Expand His Recruitment

Up until recently, the Santa Rosa standout indicated that only two schools were in the running for his services. However, in the ever changing world of recruiting his thought process has changed. Devils Digest talked to the four-star wide receiver following an in-home visit by the Sun Devil coaches.

"Coach Koetter and Coach Jackson were just here," said Angelo Richardson. "They got to meet my parents and my grandma for the first time and it was a great visit. We talked about football, academics, facilities, and all the other reasons why I should come to Arizona State. My family enjoyed talking to them."

In the last few days, following discussions with his father, the 6-2 196 receiver decided to consider other schools aside from ASU and USC. "I'm only gonna decide on signing day," he explained, "So I'm thinking I'm gonna take more visits. I don't know which schools I'm going to visit. I have a list of ten of them, so I'm gonna decide from that list." In previous interviews, Richardson mentioned Miami, Arizona, and Purdue as possible destinations for official trips.
