"It was a great visit," said the 6-5 230 Kevin Basped. "I liked how all the players were like family, and they treated me like I was already on the team. I liked the beautiful women too (laughs). The facilities were real nice and so was the city."
Basped was first in sacks for Florin with 18, and second in tackles with 101 (18 of them for a loss). He also played tight end. "He's just a raw talent with a great motor," said Head Coach Mile Morales. "He has great speed coming off the edge. He's been playing football only a year and half and has a great upside."
Basped has already visited Nevada, and is scheduled to visit Oregon State on the 27th. Then again, time will tell if that trip will come to fruition. "Arizona State said that they will offer me when they visit me this week," he stated. "The way things are looking right now, you'll see back there (at ASU) in the summer (smile)." The defensive lineman has also been receiving interest from Boise State.
