The Devils were held to just three hits, as Stanford starter Greg Reynolds (4-3) cruised through the Sun Devil lineup in recording the complete game win. Reynolds also racked up eight strikeouts on the night. Left-hander, Josh Satow suffered the loss for the Devils, his first of the season to drop his record to 3-1.
The lone bright pot for the Devils was a Preston Paramore solo homerun. The Devils dropped to 28-15 overall and 7-6 in conference play. The two teams will go at it again today, as the Devils look to bounce back and get back on the winning side of things. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
