Devils Tame Bruins on the Road

Briann January scored a career-high 22 points and led Arizona State to victory against UCLA on Sunday afternoon, 80-69. With the win, the Sun Devils set a team record with the most conference and regular-season victories.

January also had nine assists and six steals. However she couldn't have done it alone. Emily Westerberg and Danielle Orsillo knocked in 12 points each, and Aubree Johnson scored 10.

Taking the lead by half time, 34-29, ASU kept up the momentum with 55% game shooting average. Noelle Quinn was the high scorer for the Bruins with 20 points, followed by Lindsey Pluimer with 13. Chinyere Ibekwe grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds. Though UCLA shot 77% from the free throw line, compared to ASU's 63%.
