The Devils received another solid pitching performance and a healthy dose of offense, which was just too much for the Blazers to overcome. JC transfer, Brian Flores, improved his record to 2-0 on the year, after pitching six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits, while striking out six.
Offensively the Devils pounded out 13 hits, led by shortstop, Andrew Romine, who had four hits on the day. Romine finished the day 4-for-6 with two runs scored and two RBI's. Eric Sogard continued to swing a hot stick, as he recorded two hits and two RBI's. Petey Paramore also notched two hits in the game, going 2-for-3 with three runs scored.
The Devils will look for the sweep tomorrow at 1 p.m., as they finish off the three game series with the Blazers.
