Wide receiver Derek Hagan was the only big contributor statistically on offense. He had three catches for 52 yards. Those three catches tied him for the most in a season by a freshman Sun Devil. Running back Hakim Hill only had two carries for 15 yards. Wide receiver Matt Miller came up with a key blocked punt in the first quarter that resulted in three points for the Devils. Starting on offense were Hagan, as well as Tim Fa'aita and Chaz White on the offensive line. Also receiving playing time were Mike Talbot, Grayling Love, and Lee Burghgraef.
Starting on defense were Nick Johnson at linebacker, Joey Smith at safety, and
Brett Hudson at cornerback. Hudson had four tackles, one of those for a loss,
and also recorded a sack late in the game. Safety Matt Fawley came up with
four tackles and a fumble recovery. Josh Golden and Jamar Williams had two and
one tackles respectively. Matt Mason and Shane Jones also saw playing time.
On special teams, Tim Parker only had to punt the ball one time, traveling 50
yards. Josh Golden had four kick returns for 71 yards, for an average of 17.8 yards.
