Loss Does Not Affect Logan's Visit

It was a disappointing weekend for the ASU team, who lost a 27-10 decision to Georgia. On the other hand, for recruits on official visits such as Alex Logan, the overall positive impressions from their trip weren't dampened one bit by the Sun Devil loss.

"The visit was real cool," said Logan, "and I got along with everyone there. The coaches are really down to earth and genuine. I expected the trip to be really good, and the coaches weren't pressuring for me to come there but at the same time they also showed me how much they wanted me to come there."

The 6-2 195 safety was hosted by Gerell Robinson, and he said that the ASU wide receiver along with his fellow Coloradoans also there on recruiting visits, Matt Tucker and Jeremiah Sirles, made him feel very comfortable in Tempe. Logan, who reports a 3.2 core GPA and a 25 ACT, added that he was very impressed by ASU's academics as well.

The Tempe visit was Logan's first official trip, and this weekend he will travel to Nebraska. "I plan to also officially visit Oregon and Cal," he noted. "My last visit is probably gonna be to Washington. I plan on having all my visits done in December and making a decision right after my last visit."

Logan added that those five schools are the only programs he's looking at and he currently doesn't favor one over the other.

The safety finished his junior season (12-1) at Denver's Mullen High School with 105 tackles and one interception. This year the Mustangs are currently 3-1.

Alex Logan, is a solid combination of a hard hitting and athletic player. He benches 275 pounds and has a vertical jump of 32 inches. Although he only plans to play football in college, he runs a 10.9 100 and 21.9 200m.
