Harmer was scheduled to visit Tempe following his visit to Tucson, but according to him it just didn't work out in the end. The 6-3 220 defensive end did enjoy his trips so far to Arizona and Texas Tech, but sounded just as enthusiastic about his upcoming visit to the Sun Devils on Jan. 31st. "ASU is a real young up and coming team. I'm good friends with (ASU's QB verbal commit) Michael Affleck. We played against each other in the championship game. We beat him 9-6, and I had a couple of sacks and pass deflections on him (smile). It would be nice to play with him."
This week the Long Peak HS product will stay in the state of Utah and visit BYU. His fifth and last visit will come between Oregon and his state's other major school University of Utah. Nevertheless, he has no problem admitting that he would like play in the Pac-10 or Big 12. However, he has no favorites or even a list of top three schools at this time. And as far as his time table for a decision? "I do want to take my time and take all my trips." Time will tell if Arizona State, being his last visit, will be the school to leave the freshest and most positive impression before that would cause Harmer to don the maroon and gold.
