Iowa is easily the toughest challenge Arizona has had this season and may be the toughest team the Wildcats have faced at the end of the year as well.
"We know Iowa is a tremendous team in virtually every facet you look at," Mike Stoops said. "They are a very physically mature team and play very mature throughout the entirety of their team. It should be a tremendous game."
Playing Iowa straight up may not be enough for an Arizona team that was outmatched physically last season.
"We are going to have to put some changeups in there on both sides of the ball and try to create some different looks defensively," Stoops said.
"We have to add a little more than maybe we would like to try to change up what we are doing to try to get their quarterback a little off balance and hopefully create formations that give us an advantage some where offensively."
One of the major reasons the game will be difficult is because Iowa is a very good team both offensive and defensively.
"Their offensive and defensive line is a great place to start," Stoops said. "That's where they excel, and it presents challenges to us in a lot of areas."
