As the first half came to an end Saturday, one thing was obvious.
Stanford was simply better than Arizona.
The Wildcats were dominated in all facets of the game and lost to Stanford 42-17 on Saturday night.
Matt Scott was out for the game with a wrist injury and Nick Foles looked rusty early.
He finished with 247 yards passing with one touchdown and one interception, but was never able to get a lot of zip on the ball.
Of course, he was not helped by receivers dropping numerous passes and a defensive secondary that could not make plays.
Trevin Wade once again struggled and most of his counterparts did not fare any better.
Arizona now returns home to face USC next Saturday.
