Arizona signed three players on Wednesday and while each player is great, a key to the class is also he fact that they fill needs.
"We have a class of three individually talented players," Sean Miller said. "However, they are also great kids who all come from winning environments where they have faced great competition.
Miller feels confident that the class as a whole is one that is going to have a major impact on the program.
"A year from now, this class will have a significant impact on our team and the program's continued development. Our future is brightened by their addition today."
Josiah Turner may have the biggest impact of the class and is a player that has Miller excited.
"Josiah is a pure point guard who makes the game easier for his teammates because he is unselfish, has great vision and knows how to play the game," said Miller.
Nic Wise was a solid point guard for Arizona, but known for being a bit small.
Turner is just the opposite and should give the opposition fits with his size.
"He is blessed with great size for a point guard, which makes him an ideal fit for us defensively as well," Miller said. "I am confident that Josiah will carry on the great tradition of point-guard play at Arizona."
Last but not least is Nick Johnson, a player that Miller feels will play more than one position for Arizona.
"Nick is a special player who will have an immediate impact on our program," said Miller. "He has the ability to play both guard positions, is a superior athlete on both ends of the floor and is really becoming an excellent shooter and explosive athlete.
"Nick is a fantastic kid and we are ecstatic to have him as a part of our program."
