UA easily wins opener

Arizona defeated Idaho State 90-42 as the Wildcats started the season with an easy win.

The game was never in question on Sunday at McKale, as Arizona defeated Idaho State 90-42.

Derrick Williams finished with 16 points, 12 of which came in the first half.

Williams was basically doing what he wanted and did not have to do much, as the rest of the team stepped up.

Brendon Lavender finished with 12 points and looked much more confident behind the arc.

Solomon Hill and Kyle Fogg each finished with ten and each Wildcat saw time on Sunday.

Idaho State may not be the best opponent, but the UA defense was still very impressive, as it held Idaho State to 28 percent shooting.
