Arizona gave Oregon its best shot on Saturday but, in the end, its best shot was not enough.
Oregon defeated Arizona 48-29 on Friday night, as the Wildcats simply made too many mistakes to come out with the win.
Nick Foles threw for 442 yards and four touchdowns, but the Arizona offense was a bit too one dimensional to succeed.
The Wildcats only had 63 yards rushing and let up 403 yards, a statistic that certainly is not going to lead to wins.
Arizona actually went into the half leading 19-14, but it quickly went downhill in the second half.
The Ducks forced a three and out and then proceeded to get an 85-yard run by Josh Huff to get the 20-19 lead.
By the end of the quarter, Arizona was down 34-22 and basically out of the game, as it no longer had any answers.
Even when it did have the answers to force fourth down, Arizona made mistakes such as Ricky Elmore jumping offsides or a Mike Turner fumble on a kickoff.
The UA will now end the season against Arizona State at home on Thursday.
