Arizona had its opportunities Saturday night, but could not take advantage, as the Wildcats lost to Kansas 87-79.
Derrick Williams led all scorers with 27 points and seven rebounds, but the Wildcats were hurt in a big way when he fouled out.
Arizona's offense struggled to maintain any rhythm and finished the game shooting 41 percent compared to 49 percent for Kansas.
One day after being ridiculed by head coach Sean Miller, Kyle Fogg answered with 18 points.
In addition, Lamont Jones finished with 11, but struggled defensively against Tyshawn Taylor, who finished with 10 points and eight assists.
The Wildcats surprisingly outrebounded Kansas, but the game really came down to the fact that the Wildcats could not convert when it needed it most.
