Arizona needed a late surge to defeat NAU 63-58 on Thursday night.
The Wildcats were simply outplayed for most of the game and struggled defensively. In what is becoming a pattern, NAU decided to play zone against the Wildcats and Arizona suffered because of it.
It is safe to say that Kevin Parrom saved the game, 14 points with five rebounds and four assists to no turnovers.
Brendon Lavender also had a big steal and two consecutive three pointers late in the game to give Arizona the lead.
After shooting 26 percent in the first half, Arizona came2 back and shot 59 in the second half, as NAU shot 61 percent.
Cameron Jones led all scorers with 27 points and the UA had no answer for him throughout the night.
