Arizona is set to face Oregon Thursday night and here is our interpretation of each position.
PG: Jones should be able to have the advantage here. Although he has been inconsistent, Oregon has had invisible point guard play at times and the UA should take advantage.
SG: Kyle Fogg is going to have his hands full with Malcolm Armstead. Armstead has not been off to a good start, but is still a player that can get hot and hurt Arizona.
SF: Jeremy Jacob hurt Arizona in the second meeting last season, despite Oregon losing. It will be interesting to see if Jacob can remain aggressive on the boards and he will have to if the Ducks are going to win.
PF: E.J. Singler is a solid player and may have to guard Perry because of his lateral quickness. This is an awful match up for Oregon and one in which the Wildcats will likely try to exploit.
C: Joevan Catron is having a fantastic season, but he is still not Derrick Williams. Look for both to have relatively big games.
Prediction: Arizona 72, Oregon 56
