Derrick Williams was not going to be denied Thursday night.
Not after a poor foul call late.
Not due to double teams.
Williams scored a career-high 31 points to lead the UA past Cal 73-71 at McKale.
The Wildcats only shot 40 percent, but hit six three-pointers and went to the line 32 times to help get the win.
After having 38 turnovers in the past two games, Arizona only turned the ball over 10 times.
In addition to Williams, Jamelle Horne and Kyle Fogg had 10 points.
