Arizona hung around as long as it could, but in the end it was not able to make a big enough impact on Christian Heyward to be considered a finalist.
Arizona and UCLA have been eliminated, while Oregon, San Diego State, and USC make up his top three.
That is likely his order as well, with SDSU surging. If the Aztecs still had Brady Hoke, it is a good chance they would be the favorites.
However, Oregon is Heyward's likely destination, although it can change in a hurry.
Arizona was in it for Heyward for a decent amount of time, but location started to play a factor and Oregon obviously had a good year last season.
It will be a while before Heyward decides, but Arizona is very unlikely to get back in the picture.
