New Orleans defensive back Cortez Johnson has seen his recruitment pick up dramatically in the last few weeks and he is now working hard to complete his five visits.
Johnson is visiting Pitt this weekend and will visit Minnesota before Signing Day as well as he prepares to make his decision.
Johnson still considers himself a Southern Miss commit, but obviously that has to be considered a soft commitment due to the visits that he continues to take.
Arizona recently got a visit from Johnson and is right in the thick of things, with some sources saying the Wildcats have emerged as a slight favorite.
Although a decision is only a week away, it seems like there is plenty of time for Johnson to decide, as new schools are popping up daily.
While Johnson considers himself a Southern Miss commit, he also admits that he currently has no favorites and will consider all options.
