In a surprising move, Arizona must now replace its secondary coach again after Duane Akina has made the decision to return to Texas.
Akina released a statement through Arizona, but has yet to truly answer the questions about why he is leaving.
"I'm not happy that I had to put both of these institutions in this situation," Akina said. "It's been a tough month for me and my family making these decisions.
"Any time you have younger children, it becomes a very difficult decision and that was the driving force behind this decision."
Texas lost its replacement for Akina when Jerry Gray went to the Tennessee Titans and sources say Mack Brown contacted Akina, offering him a raise.
The difference in pay and lure of Brown seems to have been too much to pass up for Akina, as he is returning to Texas immediately.
