PG: Lamont Jones (6-0, 196, So.) vs. Lazeric Jones (6-0, 187, Jr.)
Jones simply was not effective against USC, but Lazeric was downright terrible in the first meeting. However, Lazeric has been playing well as of late and we always tend to go with the momentum.
SG: Kyle Fogg (6-3, 180, Jr.) vs. Malcom Lee (6-5, 200, Jr.)
Lee has emerged as one of the best players in the conference and Fogg is going to have to step up defensively. If Lee struggles a bit, the Wildcats are going to have a major advantage.
SF: Solomon Hill (6-6, 226, So.) vs. Tyler Honeycutt (6-8, 188, So.)
Honeycutt is a solid defensive player and although his offense has struggled, it still does not take away the fact that he has the potential to be extremely dangerous for Arizona.
PF: Jesse Perry (6-7, 210, Jr.) vs. Reeves Nelson (6-8, 235, So.)
The way that Arizona struggled with its interior defense Thursday is scary and considering Nelson has been successful against UA in the past, it will be interesting to see how Arizona handles him defensively.
C: Derrick Williams (6-8, 241, So.) vs. Anthony Stover (6-10, 235, Fr.)
Josh Smith will get the bulk of playing time here, but he can't guard Williams either. After Thursday's performance, it is hard to not have the feeling that Williams is going to come back in a major way.
Benches: Arizona is deeper, but players like Jordin Mayes need to be more consistent. The depth means next to nothing if it is not effective.
Coaches: Sean Miller vs. Ben Howland
Howland and Miller have their teams in similar positions, but the big difference here is the level of talent and fact that Miller is only in his second year.
Intangibles: UCLA home games are not normally electric, but this is the last game at Pauley ever. Mix that with a possible tie for first and Arizona has its work cut out for it.
Prediction: This is a scary game for Arizona considering everything that is going to lead to high emotions for UCLA. Bad games happen and Thursday was terrible. It will be difficult for Arizona to match the atmosphere and emotion at Pauley Saturday.
UCLA 78, Arizona 74
Breakdown: UA vs. UCLA
