Josh Gershon joins the, and Fox Sports teams. is pleased to announce the latest addition to its staff in Josh Gershon, previously the Senior Editor and Publisher of

Gershon started as a message board poster at before eventually becoming the Senior Editor and Columnist and finally the Publisher.

Now, he finds himself making the move to, Fox Sports and, where he'll assist Jason Scheer in running the website while also providing recruiting coverage to and Fox Sports.

"For nine years I never seriously considered leaving goazcats, but the opportunity that was presented to me by and Fox Sports was too good to pass up," Gershon said. "I truly believe this is the best fit for me now and for the future."

Gershon has made a name for himself by working hard to develop contacts, breaking stories and providing in-depth coverage on Arizona Wildcats basketball, football and recruiting.

As a recruiting analyst, Gershon has traveled to major events throughout the country and covered recruiting in cities such as Indianapolis, Charlottesville, New York City, North Augusta (S.C.), Cleveland, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego and Phoenix.

Gershon has seen his work published on Yahoo! Sports, as well as the online editions of The Sporting News and USA Today. He's also appeared on numerous radio stations across the country, including 1490 KFFN and 1290 KCUB in Tucson

While at, Gershon helped the site win awards including Best College Basketball and Best Pac-10 fan sites.

Gershon was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, but has lived in Tucson since the age of three. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S.B.A. in Management Information Systems in 2005.

As Gershon makes the move to, he is excited for the challenge and what the future at his new job holds.

"I know the challenge of building a fan site from the ground up and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life," Gershon said. "I'm looking forward to helping my friends and colleagues in establishing as one of the premier fan sites in the country."
