Arizona came into the Duke game with most national analysts and fans alike thinking Duke would come out on top.
They were wrong.
Arizona defeated Duke 93-77 on Thursday night to advance to the Elite Eight.
Derrick Williams was the best player on the court throughout the night, finishing with 32 points and 13 rebounds.
Duke simply had no answer for him and with Arizona trailing by six at the end of the first half, it seemed as if Duke wouldn't need one.
However, the rest of the Wildcats stepped up and it was simply something Duke could not handle.
Williams had 25 of Arizona's 38 points going into the half with the second leading scorer only having four.
In the second half, Arizona's other players started out aggressively and Lamont Jones finished 6-10 with 16 points.
The most impressive part of his stat sheet was the fact that he finished with six assists and zero turnovers.
In addition, Solomon Hill finished with 13 points and five rebounds, as Arizona finished the game shooting 54 percent from the field.
Arizona held one of the best players in the nation in Nolan Smith to eight points on 3-14 shooting, as Duke also only hit five three pointers.
With the win, Arizona advances to play UCONN on Saturday.
