Marvin Williams shines at Texas Classic

It was pretty much the consensus that Marvin Williams, a 6-8 forward from Bremerton (HS), Wash., was one of the top performers at the Texas Classic last weekend. College coaches were in awe of his performance and many would like to get involved.......but can they?

Williams, who played in the post for his Bremerton High team, displayed his skills on the perimeter and will surely be a wing forward at the college level.
A number of college coaches were in awe of Williams' performance at the Texas Classic, but it seems he is still considering the same five schools.
With Roy Willliams going from Kanss to North Carolina, I wondered if Williams had changed his list of schools.
Williams was on his way home from Houston and still in the air when I called last night, but his mother, Andrea Giddings, told me everything is status quo.
"Marvin still is interested in Kansas," his mother said. "Nothing has changed. Kansas, North Carolina, Arizona, Washington and Oregon are the schools."
