Arizona offers linebacker

Arizona has offered Fontana (Calif.) linebacker Reshawn Hooker, but he is currently looking at all of his options.

6-foot-2, 200-pound Fontana (Calif.) A.B. Miller linebacker Reshawn Hooker is taking his time with his recruitment and it will likely lead to plenty more offers.

Hooker currently holds three, with his latest coming as a surprise.

"I have an offer from Boise State, Arizona State, and Arizona," Hooker said.

"The Arizona offer was my most recent one and it definitely came as a surprise."

Hooker says that there are two schools that are recruiting him the hardest, though he would not call them favorites.

"Arizona State and Boise are definitely recruiting me the hardest," he said.

"The Arizona offer is pretty recent, so I have only talked to them once or twice."

As Hooker goes through the process, he has a good idea of what he will be looking for in a school.

"Obviously I am going to be looking at the football side of things," Hooker said. "I want a school with high expectations for their football program. I also want to be set academically and have good support there."

Hooker wants to take his time with a decision, as there are schools that still want to evaluate him.

"USC and Oregon have told me they are going to come by my school in May," he said. "I will probably take my time and decide close to Signing Day, so I can see all of my options and take official visits."
