Quarterback enjoys Spring Game

Arizona had a quarterback in attendance on Saturday for the Spring Game and he came away impressed with what he saw.

Arizona had a handful of visitors for the Spring Game and the general impression coming from it seems to be positive.

One player that left with a good impression is 6-foot-5, 185-pound San Antonio Tom Clark quarterback Josh Kern.

"I had a lot of fun there," Kern said. "The best part was getting to watch the game and just seeing everybody in action."

Kern had the opportunity to talk with the coaching staff, but much of the focus was not football, but rather getting comfortable with each other.

"I got there a day before the game, so I actually go to talk with the coaches a lot," Kern said. "They did not tell me a lot about how I would fit in. We just talked with each other and got to know each other better."

Although Kern enjoyed his visit to Arizona, he is still not ready to name any leaders in his recruitment.

"I would not say I have any leaders because I want to wait and see what happens," Kern said. "A lot of schools have told me they are going to come down in spring ball and go from there."

As far as a decision goes, Kern may not be too far off from deciding where he wants to go to school.

"The next step in my recruitment will be that I want to try to make my decision after spring ball, which starts on Monday," Kern said.
