Randy Pulley commits

Randy Pulley took two trips, to Colorado and Missouri, over the last two weekends before making a decision where to play his college ball. Yesterday he chose his school.

Randy Pulley is heading to the Big 12. He made a few visits but now he's decided on a college and he'll have two seasons remaining. Pulley Is A Tiger

Randy Pulley took his time in reaching a college decision and now he's a Tiger. "From my understanding, it's Missouri," Kevin Washington, Pulley's high school coach said. "They sent the paperwork and they're just waiting for him to sign it."

Pulley visited two Big 12 schools: Missouri and Colorado. He was also interested in Texas and Arizona but the Tigers got it done in the end.

"He told me it came down to him feeling comfortable," Washington said. "When he was here at Word of God he could come into my office and talk to me and he felt that way. It was also important that all 64 of his hours would transfer. He'll finish in two years at Missouri.

"He's playing in a high level conference and all that stuff just ties in with his credits. He liked Quin and Tony [Harvey]. It happened to work out."

Pulley is a native of Raleigh and selected Saint Louis coming out of high school. He left the Billikens after one year and headed to Barton Community College where he spent this past season. Pulley ranks as one of the top point men in junior college basketball.
