Just as he would after any Spring Game, Keola Antolin spent time on the field at Arizona Stadium signing autographs and taking pictures with admiring fans. This time however, Antolin enjoyed the commencement of spring camp for the last time.
"Man, it went by quick," Antolin says of his final spring football at the University of Arizona.
"My last spring ball; I'm going to miss all these guys that I've been playing with for the last four years."
Arizona's senior running back will have plenty of time for good byes, but he has a whole season of football ahead of him first.
Antolin is excited and ready for the fall. He claims that the biggest changes on UA's offense will come in the tempo and the overall team environment.
"We're a big family," he explains. "We didn't have that for a couple years. Everyone was doing their own stuff, but now it's just a big family."
The starting running back was quick to praise his teammates, especially one in particular.
"The young guys are standing out," he said. "They're working hard and bringing it every day. Daniel (Jenkins) has been growing since freshman year, I can see that."
As far as getting prepared for his final football season, Antolin has clear personal goals.
"I just have to get in the weight room and get stronger and faster," he said. "Get a little bit bigger and stay a little bit healthier throughout the season."
