When Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco offensive lineman Beau Boyster took an unofficial visit to Arizona's Spring Game, it did not take long for him to know he wanted to become an Arizona Wildcat.

"I am 150 percent committed to Arizona," Boyster said. "I decided to do it on Friday and the coaching staff was really pumped and excited."

One of the key components in getting a commitment from Boyster was the relationship that the UA coaching staff was able to build with him.

"I am being recruited Joe Salave'a," Boyster said. "We are close and he was actually recruiting me my sophomore year while he was at San Jose State.

"Then he went to Arizona and I didn't know he was there until he called me about four weeks ago and told me that he wanted to offer me and have me come for a visit."

It was almost immediately after that visit that Boyster decided where he wanted his future to be.

"I had a really good idea when driving back," he said. "My dad told me that's my place and I said that I love coach (Robert) Anae. He said he wanted me to take a few more visits to be sure and after that I decided where I wanted to go."

Originally Boyster saw himself taking more time throughout the process, but going to Arizona became to much to wait on.

"I kind of wanted to wait until after spring because I was expecting eight or nine more offers these next two weeks," Boyster said. "The schools are still contacting me and I tell them I am going to Arizona, but some say they still want to make sure I am 6-4, 290 pounds then offer me.

"I felt Arizona is the right place whether those schools offer me or not, so why wait?"
