After much speculation and rumors, Arizona head coach Sean Miller appears to be the top candidate for the Maryland vacancy.
While names such as Jamie Dixon, Mike Brey, and Jay Wright have been mentioned, Miller certainly seems to be the top candidate.
Sources tell WildcatAuthority.com that Miller will be meeting with Maryland in Las Vegas Saturday, as Miller will be there for a coaching clinic.
While an offer has yet to be made, it seems to be a formality at this point. Maryland will likely offer Miller a contract to become its head coach during Saturday's meeting.
At this point, that does not mean it is a guarantee that Miller will take it. Sources say that there are people on both sides of the fence, as Miller is hearing reasons to both stay and leave.
Maryland will continue to move quickly in its coaching search and indications are that a decision could be made by the end of the weekend.
Stay tuned to WildcatAuthority.com for the latest news on Sean Miller and the Maryland vacancy.
