Arizona's 2012 center options down to two

There has been some speculation as to which centers Arizona is truly considering. Read on to see which two players Arizona has focused on.

While there has been much speculation as to how the 2012 class will turn out with Kaleb Tarczewski waiting to make a decision, the class is becoming a little more clear at the center position.

The center options for Arizona in 2012 are down to Tarczewski and 6-foot-11, 240-pound Fresno (Calif.) San Joaquin Memorial center Robert Upshaw.

Recently, Shaq Goodwin named Arizona in his top five, but the reality of that recruitment is that it is due to his choosing more than Arizona's actual recruitment of him. In fact, Arizona head coach Sean Miller has not talked to Goodwin and he is not an option.

People are aware of Tarczewski's recruitment, as it appears that Arizona and Kansas will both received official visits in the future. As far as Upshaw goes, Arizona has also made him a legitimate option and those currently stand at the only two center options in the class of 2012 that Arizona will consider.

Often times in recruiting, we hear about players considering Arizona, but as we have said before, that does not necessarily mean that the Wildcats are truly recruiting them.

We feel confident at the moment saying that Tarczewski and Upshaw are the two center targets and we simply do not see that changing any time soon.
