Staff Predictions: Washington

Arizona plays Washington on Saturday and the Wildcats are looking for their second win in a row. Can Arizona do it? Read on for the staff predictions.

Blake Keathley: I really liked what I saw from Arizona last week, it was more of the UA I thought we'd see from the beginning of the season. That said, I thought in the beginning of the year that the Washington game was a winnable one for the Wildcats, and after seeing the effort they put forth for Tim Kish against UCLA, I think Arizona gets it done.

It'll be a shootout for sure, but in the end, Arizona has the superior offense and puts up just enough points to win the game.

Arizona 45, Washington 42

Overall: 6-1

Jason Nimrichter: The Wildcats looked like a much improved team a week ago and are riding a wave of confidence right now. The Huskies are a very good team but they were brought back to earth against Stanford in a blowout loss. Foles out-duels Price and the Wildcats offense proves to be too much.

Arizona 35, Washington 31

Overall: 6-1

Jason Scheer: Arizona tends to do well against teams that are lacking defensively and this is a good case of it. Washington's defense leaves something to be desired and my guess is this is the type of game where the team that has the ball last scores.

Arizona has some momentum and Tim Kish has done a good job of making sure Arizona has a me against the world type of attitude. I think it works for one more game.

Arizona 38, Washington 35
