Staff Predictions: Colorado

Arizona plays Colorado on Saturday and the staff is split. Read on to see its predictions.

Blake Keathley: In a battle of the Pac-12's worst defenses, this one will come down to which offense will score more points. In that case, it makes predicting this game an easy one, as Colorado also has the worst scoring offense in the Pac-12, putting up just 19 points per game.

Colorado finally has its play makers healthy, and it showed in a 36-33 shootout versus California earlier in the year how effective it can be with those players on the field, but regardless, Arizona has the edge as a whole offensively versus the Buffaloes. Both teams badly need a win, the Wildcats get the nod due to their more potent offensive firepower.

Arizona 38, Colorado 27

Overall: 6-3

Jason Nimrichter: Arizona just didn't look too enthused against Utah and with the Wildcats out of the bowl picture, it's hard to imagine them coming out with much energy without much to play for.

The Buffaloes may not be bowl-eligible, but they also haven't won a Pac-12 game yet, so they still have a little motivation left in them. UA again falls short in a game they should probably win.

Colorado 24, Arizona 23

Overall: 6-3

Jason Scheer: This game could go either way and it would not be a surprise, as both teams are struggling to find an identity. You do have to wonder how much both teams care at this point, but there has to be a winner.

In the end, I think Nick Foles throws for close to 450 yards and three or four touchdowns, which means Arizona likely gets the win.

Arizona 35, Colorado 17

Overall: 5-4
