Last weekend, Williams dropped by Tucson to say hello and spend some time with Lute Olson. "It was nice. I'm just looking for a place that will fit me best that I can live for the next four years of my life."
One would expect the topic of hoops to come up at length on an official visit to Arizona, but that wasn't the case with Williams. "To be honest, we didn't talk much basketball. I didn't want to talk about it so I didn't bring it up. I just wanted to see the town. I didn't want to talk hoops."
To each his own, and certainly schools are willing to talk about whatever Marvin wants to chat about. Washington and Lorenzo Romar host him this coming weekend on his visit and then he'll be headed to North Carolina on June 13 for an official stop in Tar Heel Land.
"Those three schools are my only visits right now," Williams said. "I don't know if I'll take any in the fall or not."
When a prospect visits Arizona, North Carolina and hometown Washington in the same month, we'd be willing to guess he'd commit somewhere sooner than later.
